So, I just finished The Killing season 4, and lemme tell you, I am a complete jumble and disaster of emotions right now (I’ll try to keep this under a thousand words).

I don’t even know where to begin, but I can say that I haven’t cried as hard as I did in that last episode than I have in years….

so it’s alright to assume that they are going to start a romantic relationship? i mean i thought it but part of me was like “nahh they’re just extremely close friends who miss each other” but then at the very end i was like “but wait…”

I think it’s definitely safe to assume that! It was implied that Holder was no longer with Caroline, and with all that “home was us” and “stay” stuff lead me to think that scene was an implication of them getting together! Especially since it’s been hinted at throughout the entire series, and they’re just perfect for each other ;)

So, I just finished The Killing season 4, and lemme tell you, I am a complete jumble and disaster of emotions right now (I’ll try to keep this under a thousand words).

I don’t even know where to begin, but I can say that I haven’t cried as hard as I did in that last episode than I have in years. YEARS. Is that healthy? I didn’t even cry that hard during Bullet’s death (note that that was the only other moment I cried due to a work of fiction).

Anyways, I guess I’ll begin with this season’s case itself. It was original and unexpected and disturbing, which I absolutely loved. It constantly kept you on edge and didn’t feel like it was dragging on in the slightest.

Now, the real drama. God damn did that play with my emotions. I came into the season expecting that all would work out, and I was proven completely, utterly false (until that last minute). The whole deal with Linden and Holder doubting their friendship constantly toyed with my emotions, and I flat out bawled when she pointed her gun at him. With 20 minutes of the show to go, I was convinced that Linden was going to jail and Holder was never going to see her again and I was crying harder than ever before. And the scene at Bullet’s grave?! THAT SHIT’S BRUTAL, YO.

Now, let’s talk about the ending. First, I was so incredibly happy during the scene of Holder and his daughter. That was amazing. Secondly, I’ve been shipping Linden and Holder since day one of their partnership. The further I got into s4 the more hope I lost for my OTP wish coming true. Id practically given up till the ending. That ending was the best, most beautiful ending I’ve ever seen. It was perfect, there was no kiss, but it was perfect all the same. First time I cried tears of joy as well. (SEE WHAT THIS SHOW DOES TO ME?!)

My favourite thing about The Killing is that it doesn’t let you off easily. The show isn’t cliché at all and it’s not afraid to take bold twists (as done throughout the past 4 seasons). But, I’m so thrilled that we got a happy, beautiful ending for Linden and Holder. After following this show throughout the past years, it’s so sad to see this incredible series come to an end, but the ending was perfect and satisfying. Farewell, The Killing, I will miss you dearly!

(I could go on for days, but I should end this post now ((I didn’t even get to cover half of what I wanted to)). If you actually read to the end, congrats & I love you)

Hello everybody! If you remember me, I’m Zoë and I ran this blog throughout the course of The Killing’s season 3. Anyways, HELLO! IM FINALLY BACK! I was intending on writing a post about my excitement and predictions for season 4 right before it began, but I’ve been incredibly busy lately and unfortunately didn’t have the chance. Anyways, I had company over all weekend and I only got to begin the fourth season until last night, and WHOOPS I finished it tonight. I’ll be writing my thoughts about it in my next post, to avoid this one from becoming a novel ;)

I can’t believe they cancelled it! I’m so pissed. With an ending like that, they’re not gonna continue? COME ON. After such an amazing season, that which helped it gain a ton more viewers, why would they cancel it? Plus, that’s no kind of ending to finish the entire show on.

The Killing was my favorite tv program. This fucking sucks, I hope they change their minds. I still want to be able to regularly use this blog at some point!

lesbian-lost said: He broke fingers or cut them off to get his trophies - jewelry; particularly rings. Once dead, wrestling with a thin finger of a young girl would easily cause it to break or make it hard to remove a ring which is why cutting a finger was sometimes his only choice. All but Angie were post-mortum.

Thank you so much for sending this in! very good point, makes a lot of sense :)
